This hatha yoga based training provides a firm foundation of the skills needed for teaching others and a clearer understanding of the practice of yoga. Learn the basic principles of yoga postures and posture sequences, breath awareness and meditation to teach yoga in a gentle and helpful way.
Learn gentle yoga poses; language and approaches to make yoga more accessible for all students and help minimize the risk of triggering students unintentionally
anatomy & physiology
Study general anatomy of tendons, ligaments, muscles and joints. The effects and benefits of the internal bodily systems; anatomy of the nose; nasal cleansing practices; breathing techniques
philosophy, ethics & lifestyle
We will cover social and personal ethics of yoga for overall well being and how they relate to our practice and in the classroom; nutrition and the important elements needed in our diet for our body’s repair and optimal health; Ayurveda for self care
Learn to build confidence in your yoga language; increase your knowledge of teaching; observe and adjust postures and how to practice to avoid injury.

Learn how to proceed to the next step appropriate to your gifts and find your vision; work as an independent contractor/studio owner; setting up an online presence, additional ways to promote yourself
In addition, complete reading and written assignments, keep a daily practice journal, take exams and 100% attendance to all weekend training sessions is required. Our regularly scheduled classes are free during the training.
